JEHOVAH Rapha means “The Lord Who Heals.” Unang nabasa ang pangalan sa Exodus 15:26. Pagkatapos na ang mga Israelista ay tumawid ng Red Sea at tatlong araw silang pagala-gala sa Desierto ng Shur nang walang tubig. Bagama’t nakakita sila ng river subalit ito’y mapait na ang tawag ay Marah. Dito nga inutusan si Moses na magbato ng piece of wood sa tubig para maging drinkable. Sa milagrong ito ipinahayag ng Diyos, “I am the Lord who heals you.” Siya nga ang Jehovah Rapha, kapahayagan ng katauhan ng Diyos na siya ay healer and restorer in both spiritual and physical.
The healer and restorer of our physical and spiritual life ay ang ating Lord Jesus, the same yesterday today and forever. Kung paano siya nagpagaling at nag-restore ng buhay noong nasa ibabaw pa siya ng lupa, hanggang ngayon ay siya ang pa rin ang great healer!
Marami tayong naririnig na testimony na sila ay nakaranas ng kagalingan mula sa ating great healer Lord Jesus Christ. Ang author ng “Healing is Yours” na si Dr. Philip Goldfedder, a Jewish neurosurgeon na kasama ko sa Full Gospel Businessmen, Augusta Chapter, did not believe in healing and hindi rin naniniwala kay Jesus. Subalit when he was miraculously healed of chronic intractable pain, ay nagkaroon siya ng radical transformation. Until he had a healing ministry.
Maraming promises and healing scriptures and experiences in the Old and New Testaments ang nakaranas ng pagpapagaling, spiritually and physically.
Herewith some scriptures we can declare and claim for our healing. James 5:15, “And the prayer of faith will save the sick…” Exodus 15:26, “…for am the LORD who heals you.” Jeremiah 30:17, “I will restore your health and heal your wounds, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 17:14, “O LORD, you alone can heal me; you alone can save. My praises are for you alone.” Exodus 23:25, “Because you worship the Lord your God, the blessing will come to you, food and water and I will restore your health.” Psalms 103:3, “Bless the Lord, O My soul who forgives my iniquities. Bless the Lord, O My soul who heals all my diseases. Bless the Lord, O My soul who redeem me from all destructions.” Dalangin ko nawa’y gumaling ang makababasa nito. God love us all!
